Portal Risk Control Configuration Optimization Notice
May 08, 2025
Dear Cobo Users,
To further enhance the risk control experience for Portal transactions and optimize security measures, Cobo has launched a brand-new General Policy configuration rule.
New Feature Introduction:
A new “General Policy” option has been added under “Create Policy.” You can now apply universal rules to all transaction types supported by Portal, covering both current and future transaction types.
Scope of Application:
• Wallet Types Supported by Portal: Fully Custodial Wallets, MPC Wallets, Smart Contract Wallets (SCW), Exchange Wallets, etc.
• Transaction Types Supported by Portal: Token transfers, message signing, contract interactions, and more.
General Policy Configuration Recommendation:
You may create a “Manual Approval Required for All Transactions” General Policy and set its priority to the lowest level. This strategy will serve as a fallback risk control measure within your Org, intercepting transactions not covered by higher-priority risk control policies to ensure overall security.
Friendly Reminder:
If you make no adjustments, your existing risk control logic will remain unchanged and will not be affected by this optimization.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
