Hello! To enhance the security and usability of the MPC Wallet, we have completed an optimization and upgrade of the private key share configuration and security mechanisms on October 30, 2025. 

Below are the key updates and their impact on your usage:

I. Core Optimizations and Changes

1. Interface Optimization and Terminology Adjustment

· Change: The overall UI and interaction design have been revamped. The previous terms “Main Group,” “Signing Group,” and “Recovery Group” have been standardized to “Main Key,” “Signing Key,” and “Recovery Key” to improve clarity and consistency.

· Impact: This is a UI-level optimization only. The underlying technical structure of the private keys and your configuration data remain unchanged.

2. Enhanced Security Mechanisms

· Key operations such as key creation are now integrated with governance policies, triggering security verification when executed.

· The system now prohibits the same node from holding multiple key shares within the same Vault to prevent potential security risks caused by cross-node usage.

3. Recovery Key Configuration

· Change: The configuration of the “Recovery Key” (including both self-recovery and third-party recovery) must now include a Cobo key share.

· Impact: The previous option allowing configurations without Cobo participation has been removed. This change helps improve the reliability of asset recovery.
