To continuously strengthen your asset protection system and also to cover Cobo’s risk control scenarios (such as withdrawal confirmations and high risk activity verifications), Cobo will officially launch the new Cobo Portal Withdrawal Security Confirmation Process on October 27, 2025.

1. Upgrade Objectives and Core Value
This upgrade aims to provide you with a safer and more trustworthy official confirmation mechanism.
The new process fully integrates the Cobo Guard verification tool to establish for your Portal account a system that is:

- Secure and reliable: Replaces informal channels such as Telegram with official confirmation through Cobo’s secure platform.
- Traceable: All alert messages and confirmation actions are logged in the system, ensuring the authenticity and validity of results.
- Permission-controlled: Only authorized personnel within your organization with confirmation rights can perform security confirmations.

2. Process Changes
When your withdrawal transaction triggers Cobo’s internal risk control rules, the new “Security Confirmation” process will be initiated.
Previously, confirmations were informed via Telegram or other social channels.
Moving forward, official confirmation messages will be sent through the Cobo Guard App to your designated risk control approvers.

3. Important Configuration Guide for Admins
To ensure smooth execution of the new process in the event of a risk, Admins must configure the “Security Confirmation” when the product goes live, as follows:

Path: Log in to Cobo Portal → Risk & Compliance → [Team] Tab → “Security Confirmation” settings.

Action: Maintain the designated risk approvers within your organization (users must be bound to Cobo Guard) and set the confirmation rules.

Default Rule: Approval from any one Admin or Manager is sufficient.
Optional Rules: Custom approval thresholds are supported, such as:
- Specified confirmation thresholds
- Approval by ≥50% of Admins
- Automatic rejection (if flagged by risk controls)
